Pilgrimage
During a pilgrimage the intention is to experience the mystical stream of metaphysical gifts that have a transformational effect on the seeker. You can experience a special place -a sacred site- with all of your heart and soul, or you might find the answers to questions you have, or a healing takes place in either your body or your life. Such sacred journeys are characterized by a timeless, mysterious, ancient yet very familiar feeling. A re-member-ing! The journey itself is more important for the pilgrim than the end of the journey because on in the course of their pilgrimage they recognize numerous opportunities for growth, for becoming more aware and for Self realization. 

The people you meet, the situations that you attract or the "gifts" you receive from Life are all with meaning and they hand you the next piece of the puzzle. It is like you are following a path of spiritual bread crumbs of events and of other out-of-the-ordinary experiences. When you go beyond the routine of your normal daily life, your awareness changes. There is more alertness and you feel that you are alive and experiencing! You are more open to the messages and omens on your sacred path during a pilgrimage.
