We accompany and guide you to beautiful and magical places. There will be an itinerary but within that framework we will respond to the unfolding moment as that is where real upportunities for inner growth lie. On this spiritual ourney there will be room for your own research too. By working with small groups of up to 7 people , we can give everyone enough attention.

Chalice Well

Experience the healing and soothing energy of the Chalice Well and the lovingly landscaped gardens. Enjoy the healing effect on your heart at the Healing Pool in King Arthur's Court. Pilgrims have come for years to this powerful place, for peace, healing and meditation. Experience the joy and love within yourself, when we participate in a ceremony in honor of Nature in the Chalice Well. Here, you will get an impression of the old Celtic path and the joy it brings. We will drink from the source and you might want to take some of the healing Chalice Well water  home. Explore the Chalice Well garden and let your being be filled completely with the tremendous power of nature, the healing sounds and the specific taste of its water. Hang a ribbon with your wish or prayer in the tree at the well, as many have already done before you, and let the wind take these prayers to the universe.

Glastonbury Tor

Feel alive and lifted by the powerful energy of the Glastonbury Tor while your hairs are flapping in the wind as you stand on the top and look over the old lands of Avalon. There is strong magic here for the layered, three-dimensional maze that surrounds the Tor is a powerful connection between heaven and earth. At the foot of the Tor, the White Spring surfaces, here a mystical temple was built and is maintained by volunteers. It is here that you can find the Brigid Shrine with the Flame of Love, that has been kept burning here since Imbolc 2005. And there is also a shrine to Cernunnos the male energy and divine partner of the Brigidine female energy. Opposite the White Spring lies the Red Spring that is fed by the water  from the Chalice Well. There was a time that these white 'male' waters joined the red 'female' waters and flowed together downhill into the vale of Avalon. On the heart chakra path slightly more than halfway up the Tor, you will find the Eggstone that covers the entrance to the Otherworld. Of course, there are many more stories that are being told about the Tor and if you listen closely you will discover your own Truth about this place.

Wearyall Hill

Undergo the mysticism of Glastonbury Abbey and Wearyall Hill, where the past comes to life. According to legend, a hawthorn tree has grown here from the staff that Joseph of Arimithea stuck in the ground when his group of refugees from Jerusalem stayed here. At dawn his staff appeared to have grown roots and this was interpreted as a sign to start a church in this area. A descendant of the original hawthorn tree is still there and it is interesting that it blooms twice a year, which may indicate that it belongs to a Middle East variety of the Hawthorn. Joseph is said to have brought the Holy Grail from Jerusalem and to have buried it at a well. There has indeed been a discovery at the Chalice Well. Reality or legend? Experience it for yourself. In any case, you will have a fantastic view of Glastonbury, the Abbey, the Tor and the Vale of Avalon.

Glastonbury Abbey

In the center of Glastonbury you'll find the romantic ruins of 7th century Glastonbury Abbey, situated on 9 acres of parkland. It was once the most magnificent abbey of England before it was dismantled in 1536 BC. There are many mysterious legends surrounding the abbey and one of them is that Joseph Arimithea, during one of his business trips, has taken Jesus there while he was a young boy. Another one is the discovery  of the tomb of King Arthur and Guinnever in 1191 BC by the monks. And then there is the medieval paranormal archaeologist Frederick Bligh Bond who has, through automatic writing and messages of deceased monks, revealed the sacred geometry of the original structure, until the church fired him because of his 'unholy' activities. Before a church was built at this place, it was the site of a prehistoric pagan temple, where later a small settlement of 12 mud huts with a 13th one in the middle (a temple) was found  From May to September, interesting "live presentations" are being held in and around the abbey to give you an impression of life at that time. We will lead you to several magical spots on these holy grounds and you might feel like being way back in time....

Glastonbury High Street

You can spend hours and hours, visiting all the New Age shops, book shops, herbal shops, stone shops, Goddess clothing shops and vegetarian lunchrooms on Highstreet!The supermarket has a lot of organic products. Also there is a bakery with special English treats that you really must try! The town center is a vibrant melting pot of beliefs. We are not surprised anymore of owls traveling by on shoulders, beautiful and well dressed women in goddess dresses, gypsies with a horse-drawn carriage making music, friendly vagrants, spontaneous parades, witches meetings, orthodox priests that hold an unscheduled Mass in the Mary crypt, accidental encounters with more magical delights. Glastonbury Goddess Hall & Temple

Feel the energy and the presence of the ancient Goddess as we participate in a ceremony at the Glastonbury Goddess Hall led by contemporary Priestesses of Avalon. During the ceremonies, the color of the clothing matches the occasion, such as yellow and gold for Lughnasadh and orange and brown for the Autumn Equinox. The women look really beautiful and feminine. Men sadly are a minority but  they look no less radiant. Children sing  and dance along. Dedicated priestesses keep the Glastonbury Goddess Temple open to the people during daytime thereby offering you a chance to meditate in peace and joy or meet the Goddess within. The temple survives entirely on donations and gifts.

Michael & Mary energy lines

Glastonbury was once surrounded by water and located in the center of an intersection of  many earth energy lines, including the Michael and Mary lines. These winding dragon paths of sacred masculine and feminine energy cross at three different points in Glastonbury: at the Abbey, the Chalice Well and the Glastonbury Tor. We will take you to these places and you will get the opportunity  to experience the pull of the lines with our dowsing rods (that were forged by Hamish Miller) or to just sit back and tune in to the energy of the place. You will feel it for yourself!

Participant info

We travel with a small group of people who all have an open heart and mind, and share the desire to dive deeper into the magic of life. That is why this trip is less suitable for those who want to visit Glastonbury for purely touristic reasons. The itinerary provides joint activities but also offers plenty of opportunity to go out on your own. Mario and Nathascha provide a good individual counseling / coaching  whenever  you need help with the inner (healing) processes that can take place during the trip.

Accommodation

The accommodation is usually a self catering holiday cottage with multiple twin bedrooms. Your stay in a shared twin is included in the fee.
Depending on the accomodation a single room might be available (additional fee).

Meals & drinks

Meals and drinks are not included in the travel fee. An indication of costs for meals: 10 GBP or 15 US dollars per week for breakfast, 6 GBP or 9 US dollars per day for lunch and 10 GBP or 15 US dollars per day for evenening meal. Prices of drinks vary depending on what you're having.

Breakfast

We will enjoy organic breakfasts together while we go over that day's plan. We will all put 10 GBP towards a  breakfast pot  and write down our breakfast preferences on a shopping list.

Lunch and evening meals

Lunch and evening meals are discussed during breakfast or as we go.  You may join the group for lunch and evening meals or you might want to be on your own. Lunch is almost always eaten while we are out and about, in a lunchcafé. For the evening meals we can either cook together at the self catering cottage or eat out in an English pub. We know several great pubs with a lovely ambiance.

Means of travel

You will arrange your own flight to Bristol airport where we will pick you up and drop you off  for your return journey.  During the trip you will be driven in a airconditioned spacious car or minibus, depending on the amount of participants.

Finally

One of the strengths of our tours is that, because we know our way in and around Avalon, we can adapt to activities that arise spontaneously during our journey, like drumming and chanting with Jana Runnalls for example, or participate in a ceremony / celebration with other groups. We never know in advance what the trip will bring us all, we plan a number of things, but whatever is needed for the pilgrims, our travelers, YOU will happen!
