Year training in Cornwall UK by Lynn Forrest
From November 2010 to September 2011, Lynn Forrest, shall be running her new Being Sovereign course at a retreat centre in beautiful west Cornwall UK.
Lynn has studied various forms of complementary therapies over the past two decades and has a broad, practical understanding of many of the healing arts. She has trained in spiritual and personal development and uses many of the techniques in her own life. From simple hands-on healing to the use of crystals, from shamanism to homeopathy, she is a networker of practitioners and practices and an experienced practitioner herself.
Lynn is the Founder of the CHI (Complementary Health Initiative), a Cornish based community organisation dedicated to integrated medicine. She initiated the original project, secured the funding and ran the organisation for its first six years. It achieved its goal of working with the NHS and still has complementary therapists working in GP surgeries and educational settings.
Sharing her time between homes in the UK and Sweden, Lynn is based with her husband and family in beautiful west Cornwall. She offers one-to-one therapy sessions, a variety of group workshops and courses, plus unique retreat opportunities. Lynn also works with practitioners and facilitators in different disciplines to her own, to offer things like Kriya yoga, Louise Hay method and sound healing. From time to time her travels take her on sacred journeys which she shares with others on the spiritual path.

Being Sovereign allows you to become master of your own life. It means being in command of how you approach life and how it affects you. It means recognising your own majesty and using it to create the life you’ve always dreamed of, not the life you settle for. But it also means living a life of truth and reality, not illusion.
The course asks you to commit to a cycle of understanding; almost a year of self-exploration to generate a working practice for manifesting a new paradigm for life. During this year you will uncover your authentic self and learn how it can operate fully in this world, with all the support and tools it may require to evolve your Soul Purpose. It will teach you how to become more resourceful and content, happy and motivated.
Being Sovereign also requires you to share your current skills and resources, bringing your authentic self into practice. It will shift your comfort zones, question your integrity and challenge your ideas of self, whilst polishing the sparkling diamond of the real You to reflect life’s bounty.
The next course will be run as 4 fully residential workshops, from November 2010 to September 2011 at a retreat centre in beautiful west Cornwall UK. Taking the seasons as our guide, from Winter to the following Autumn, we will address the cycle of our emerging new self, bringing a more realised person into the exciting changes predicted for 2012.
In many ways this will be an unusual type of spiritual course, including using different kinds of music, ceremony, ritual and dressing up to inspire understanding. An eclectic mix of wisdom, ancient and modern, will motivate our resolve to uncover our true identity and become the beautiful human beings we were always meant to be.
Sovereignty with the Earth has always been our birthright. Now we have to earn it.
