Yesterday, October 18th 2010, I went to pick up the World Drum and I encountered these synchronicities: right before the end of the drive we drove under a Nature Bridge called "The Green Woods" and after that a long road with majestic aspen trees greeted us like the archway of a cathedral (those of you who follow our Earth Spirit online adventure will know the significance of the Aspens and the Green Wood). Near the end of the drive, just before we would arrive at the meeting point I drove past a sign saying "the Source" (oorsprong) but on the way back that same sign read "primeval jump" (oersprong)(one letter difference). It touched me deeply because in the ceremony of the 21st I will be working with the Source (oorsprong) as the basis of All and the second step on the ceremony's design is... the primeval jump (oersprong)! Chicken skin all over!! Because this says to me that the World Drum knows what we are going to do and that it is looking very forward to it! This night I have slept with the World Drum beside me so that it can inspire and talk to us even more about what it wants/loves to see woven into the ceremony.
It is with great anticipation that I look forward to the celebration of the World Drum's 4th anniversary on October 21st. It will be a beautiful night under the stars with fire, drums, love, ceremony and most of al a renewed and rekindled connection to the Source and all of her resources ;-)
